This is the programme for the Thirty-First Annual Festival of the Manawatū Competitions Society, which was held in the Intermediate School Hall and All Saints' Hall between 10 and 15 May 1954. The competition categories included elocution (speech and drama), dance and music (both vocal and instrumental). Most entrants were children or young people.
