This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 31 January, 1964. "Mr G. F. Sommerville, of Feilding, recieves the chain of office as the new president of the New Zealand Veterinarians' Association from the retiring president, Dr M. B. Buddie, at the annual meeting of the association at Massey University of Manawatu."
