This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on January, 1964. "Mr W. R. Hopcraft" [He recieved a M.B.E. "Mr Hopcraft is chairman of the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board and has held that position for the last four years. he joined the board in 1943. Before that he served on the Kairanga County Council from 1921 to 1939, and on the now defunct Foxton Harbour Board."]
