This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 14th March, 1963. "Mops and brooms formed the armoury of the "guard of honour" of students who formed up to escort the visiting Members of the Government and their wives from the Massey University refectory to their transport bus yesterday. The visitors walked on the traditional red carpet between disciplined lines of dust-removing implements. In the lower picture is the bus embellished with characteristic decorations by the students ."
