E D Bauckham, Fruiterer and Confectioner, Guildford Street, Ashhurst

Description: Miss E D Bauckham placed a removal notice in a local paper stating that after four years on the site, she had removed goods to a new shop on the opposite side of the street and renamed the 'Excelsior Tea Rooms' The sign on the door probably reads "Excelsior Tea Rooms". This photograph shows two Bauckham sisters and Mr Warner (sawmiller). The store was known as the "Lollie Shop" until converted to a tea rooms.
