The buildings are: [1] The Club Hotel on the extreme left (yellow building). [2] W F Durward, drapers (on site from 1907-1915). [3] J A Nash's store (Palmerston North Mayor, 1908-1923). [4] Occidental Hotel built in 1887, destroyed by fire 1891, rebuilt and again destroyed by fire in 1927.
