Wife of Soloman Levy, a Wellington merchant. She was a sister of Mrs Louisa Snelson, wife of Palmerston North's first mayor George M Snelson. Mrs Levy emigrated to New Zealand with her parents in the ship "Birman" in 1842. Her obituary can be found on p 182 of the Snelson Scrapbook.
