More Info →Procession in The Square

This procession could possibly be part of the 1927 Jubilee celebrations - a procession was held on March 2 1927. However the two-storey wooden building (Nimmo's) on the corner of Church Street East and The Square was replaced in 1927 by a three-storey building (formerly Smith and Brown/Maple Furniture, now retail stores). No reconstruction appears to be in progress so the photograph was probably taken pre 1927.
