A group of local men and their motor bikes on a bridge in, what could be, the Manawatu Gorge. Identified people: Ernest Davis (far right) on an Excelsior Big X; Leslie Davis (4th from the right). Ernie (b. 1901) and Les (b. 1900) were sons of James and Harriet Davis of Palmerston North. The side car is a 1920 Excelsior Big X, centre back is an ACE 4 cylinder motorcycle.
