This is the programme for the Thirty-Third Annual Festival of the Manawatū Competitions Society, which was held in the Opera House, Concert Chamber and All Saints' Hall between 7 and 12 May 1956. The competition categories included speech and drama, dance and music (both vocal and instrumental). Most entrants were children or young people.
