Description

The clock tower was built in The Square in 1957, after a donation was made by local businessman, Arthur Hopwood. It was built with the sound shell in the front. which was removed in the 1990s. The photograph was taken by Alf and Merlyn Drew, to test equipment for their business, Photo Instruments Limited which operated at 55 Princess Street from 1959-1989.
