Description

Craiglockhart, home of the Monro family, was purchased by Massey Agricultural College with a bequest from Mrs Moginie. It was renamed Moginie House and opened as a women's hostel in 1944. The rose gardens as seen, were a featureof the grounds. The house is now renamed Craiglockhart and still serves as accommodation for students of Massey University
