Description

The Palmerston North Pizza Hut was the 16th to be opened in New Zealand. Pizza Hut was part of a 3 stage development of the land with street frontages to Main and Albert and Broadway Avenue. The Bodell family, part owner of the land in conjunction with Realty Development Corporation, had many mature trees on the site preserved. The colonial villa on the corner of Broadway and Albert Street was relocated to a 10 acre block near Feilding. Building currently occupied by a Subway fast food restaurant (2020).
