Evan Robinson was Worship Master of the Manawatu Kilwinning Lodge in 1950, being involved with most aspects of the lodge at that time. He was also a member of the Royal Arch No.11. He had an electrical repair shop in Cuba Street, adjacent to the McKenzies store c1945-1950. The shop also doubled as a second hand retail outlet. evan Robinson died in 1979 and as is buried in Kelvin Grove Cemetery.
