This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 08 March 1958, page 8: "The City of Wellington Highland Pipe Band swing along the Square during the street march today. This band will be going to Scotland to compete in the world championship in May. a project which they have worked and trained hard for since the band's inception."
