Peke atu ki ngā rauemi
Description

A group of men and women outside the Rongotea shop, standing, sitting in horse drawn buggies and on horseback. This shop was established by the Amesbury Brothers in the 1890s. It was taken over by John Bletchley in 1895. The front sign of the building reads, "Rongotea Store - Amesbury Brother - General Storekeepers - Drapery Importers".
