This is the programme for the Fourteenth Annual Festival of the Manawatū Competitions Society, which was held in the Opera House between 23 and 28 August 1937. The competition categories included elocution (speech and drama), dance and music (both vocal and instrumental). Most entrants were children or young people. In contrast to other years, the competitors' names are listed in an index at the back of the programme.
