A photograph of Postal and Telegraph workmen photographed in front of their work vehicles on Main Street. Lines staff from Palmerston North drove to the Hawkes Bay to assist in the aftermath of the 1931 Napier earthquake. Fred Paxton is fourth from the left, he opened Reliance Motors on George Street in 1942.
