Archibald Graham (c1866-1950) was Mayor of Palmerston North in 1927-1931 and a Borough Councillor 1918-1927. He was a chemist by profession, arriving in Palmerston North about 1890 to work for Mr Richard Leary, who was the town’s first chemist. He later became manager and subsequently purchased the business. From 1923-1950 he was managing director of Leary’s Pharmacies Ltd.
