This second Commercial Hotel was erected in 1900 when the first burned down. It was leased to the Childs family in 1903. Some businesses operated out of the ground floor. This building was demolished in 1935 to make way for the third Commercial hotel, an upgraded, more modern building, which was demolished in 1986.
