20th May, 1946.

Miss C.E. Warburton,
College Street,
PALMERSTON NORTH.

Dear Madam,

At a Meeting of the Executive Committee held on Friday, 17th
May, 1946, a circular was received and read dealing with the
“Collection of Fats” and the following resolution was carried:-

“That a letter be forwarded to Miss Warburton stating that
in view of the urgency of the matter contained therein she
be asked to convene a Meeting of the Committee for the
Collection of Usable Commodities, and to advise Mr. M. R.
Aldridge, Chief Postmaster, as early as possible, of the
date arranged for this Meeting.”

The Executive also directed the Secretary to interview Mr. D.
Pryor personally and advise him of the above decision and to
obtain his approval to the resolution. I am pleased to say that
Mr. Pryor agrees to this procedure as I have contacted him during
the weekend.

The name and addresses of the Committee for the “Collection
of Usable Commodities” is enclosed herewith. I understand you
already have a copy of this circular under question.

Yours faithfully
