"Talk of the Town" Revue Company
- Description
The revue show, "Talk of the Town", was established by Bruce Harris (pictured centre) with performances beginning in February, 1976. It was believed to be the only revue of its kind in New Zealand at the time. Shows were held at 100 Broadway Avenue (formerly the premises of Centrepoint Two) on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, throughout 1976 until Harris sold the production to Auckland restaurateur, Bob Sell. The final show in Palmerston North was held on Christmas Eve, 1976. Sell moved the show - with a new cast - to Auckland the following February.
