This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 2 February, 1959. "About 70 delegates from all parts of New Zealand attended the opening of the New Zealand Boys Brigade conference and annual meeting at Massey College over the weekend. Here the delegates are photographed on the steps of the college just after the opening ceremony by the Minister of Education (Mr Skoglund)." Another photo associated with this article appears on the same day.
