This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on10 September 1958: "The Rev. A.J. Jamieson and his wife are seen busily packing clothing which is destined to keep the people of the leper colonies in India and Korea warm and comfortable. This year Palmerston North has donated four times as many articles as last year and the response to the appeals is continually growing."
