Album contains photos of the Dumbleton family and extended families. Many are unidentified. Not in chronological order.

The Dumbleton family lived in Cook Street. There were four daughters: Mina; Eileen, who married and became Eileen Ward; Olive, who married and became Olive Day; Marie.

Eileen was a milliner and had a daughter, Marion. Marion married Ford McQuay, an American Marine in Wellington c.1942, and had one son Harrison in 1955. After being widowed Marion moved to 33 Havill Street, Palmerston North (all featured in album)
