Description

This building was situated at 11 Rangitikei Street. The National Bank first began business in Palmerston North in 1910 in a two-storeyed wooden building on this site managed by Mr Norman Blackmore. Mr Alex Grigor became manager in 1920 and this concrete building was erected in 1927. It was demolished in 1986. A branch of ANZ Bank now occupies the site.
