Description: This colour photograph looks toward Broadway Avenue from Church Street. Buildings include the Public Library building 1965-1996 (green tinted window shades) and Post Office 1905-1988, on opposite sides of Main Street. The towered building is the Australasian Temperance and General Mutual Life Assurance Society Ltd (T&G) building on Broadway (built 1937).
