Manawatū Competitions Society, Programme, Fifty-First Festival

This is the programme for the Fifty-First Annual Festival of the Manawatū Competitions Society, which was held at the Opera House, Concert Chamber and St Andrew's Hall between 20 May and 23 May 1974. The competition categories included speech and drama, dance and music (both vocal and instrumental). Most entrants were children or young people. In addition to listing the events and names of competitors, the programme features advertisements for local businesses. This programme also lists the order of events and names of competitors for the National Dancing competitions, held at the Kairanga Hall on 11 May 1974.
