- Description
The new two-storey C M Ross building was constructed on the site of an old boarding house on the corner of Coleman Place and George Street. The building to the left was also part of C M Ross, and linked The Square and George Street premises. The men (suited) on the pavement are from left: J A Nash, Mayor; W M Fielding, Architect; P C Watt, Contractor; J Barnicoat, Manager Union Bank; J MacFerran, Clerk of Works.
