“Tiritea” was constructed in 1903 and later removed in two parts to make way for the first Science building of Massey Agricultural College in 1929. The two halves were moved to the rear of the property, one becoming the administration block, while the other was the residence of G Peren, Principal of the college. Mr. Abraham founded Abraham and Williams, stock agents, in 1876. Mr. Abraham was a founding member of both the Manawatu Golf Club and the West Coast Live Stock Auctioneers’ Association.
