This is the programme for the Thirty-Seventh Annual Festival of the Manawatū Competitions Society, which was held in the Opera House, Concert Chamber and St. Andrews Hall between 9 May and 14 May 1960. The competition categories included elocution (speech and drama), dance and music (both vocal and instrumental). Most entrants were children or young people. This copy belonged to Mrs Major and includes additional pages and handwritten notes.
