This is the programme for the Twentieth Annual Festival of the Manawatū Competitions Society, which was held in the Opera House and Municipal Hall between 10 May and 15 May 1943. The competition categories included elocution (speech and drama), dance and music (both vocal and instrumental). Most entrants were children or young people.
