Grand Hotel, corner of the Square and Church Street
- Description
The foundation stone at the “Grand Hotel” was laid on May 19th, 1906 on the site of the Provincial Hotel which burned down on January 3rd, 1906. The “Grand” was completed in 1906. The tower was later removed as an earthquake risk and today the upper floors operate as commerical offices.
