This is the programme for the Forty-Sixth Annual Festival of the Manawatū Competitions Society, which was held at the Opera House, Concert Chamber, Operatic Society Hall and St Andrew's Hall between 10 May and 16 May 1969. The competition categories included elocution (speech and drama), dance and music (both vocal and instrumental). Most entrants were children or young people. In addition to listing the events and names of competitors, the programme features advertisements for local businesses.
