This is the programme for the Twenty-Fifth Annual Festival of the Manawatū Competitions Society, which was held in the Opera House, Municipal Hall and St. Andrew's Hall between 30 August and 4 September 1948. The competition categories included elocution (speech and drama), dance and music (both vocal and instrumental). Most entrants were children or young people.
